The Peer2Peer program is a student-led organization dedicated to building community, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating meaningful connections within the TRIO SSS program. As P2P mentor, I help welcome new students, provide encouragement and support, and build community by way of engaging events and activities both on campus and throughout the Omaha metro area.

Through the DREAM Scholars program, I mentor children from under-resourced Omaha communities in a service-based after-school setting, providing free after school childcare. I help facilitate STEM activities, educational enrichment, and mentorship while contributing to a supportive environment where students can explore their interests, build confidence, and develop meaningful relationships with college mentors.
This has truly been the most fulfilling experience I've had throughout college, working with kids whose experiences remind me of myself and providing them care after school that I wish I had. Working with them and seeing them grow from 2nd to 4th grade has truly been a life altering experience.

Creighton University Ratio Studiorum Program · 2025 – 2026

As a Decurion in Creighton's Ratio Studiorum Program, I was selected to mentor and welcome first-year students as they transitioned into college life. Throughout the school year, I assisted with first-year orientation, facilitated group activities and discussions, and met individually with students to provide academic and personal guidance while working alongside the program's faculty advisor.

Next Generation Leaders Applicant Review Committee · 2024 – 2027

As a member of the Next Generation Leaders Applicant Review Committee, I help evaluate prospective students for admission into the program. During selection events, I serve as a student guide, lead campus tours, speak with applicants about their experiences and goals, answer questions throughout the evaluation process, and contribute to assessing candidates for the program.

Creighton First-Generation Student Support Team · 2024 – 2025

As a Peer Mentor with Creighton's First-Generation Student Support Team, I supported first-generation students as they navigated the transition to college, connecting them with campus resources, answering questions based on my own experience navigating the university, and working to create an inclusive community where first-generation students could feel supported academically, socially, and personally.

I volunteered with the Women in Machine Learning (WiML) Workshop at NeurIPS 2024, assisting with the organization and presentation of the workshop's poster sessions. During my time, I helped organize posters, welcome and direct attendees, and support the event throughout the workshop while also participating in the broader WiML research community.
